Shared Parenting Council of Australia Closing Down!!

Wayne Butler from the Shared Parenting Council of Australia has announced that because they have been unable to obtain funding that they will be closing down. Unsuccessful attempts to secure government funding has meant that they are unable to proceed with planned Contact Centres.

The woman and children of Australia can all breathe a sigh of relief although they should remain on alert because like cockroaches, these vermin will not be eradicated.

I don't believe so... The mediations are generally between the two parties (All the cases I have dealt with have been) and some centres have child inclusive mediation if the children are older. One of the issues with mediation is that there is a fairly extensive "Cooling Off" period similar to buying a car. If you change your mind you can basically walk away. In any mediations I have done I generally get an agreement prepared during the various sessions that both parties have agreed to and then have both sign off the document BEFORE they depart. Various mediation operators have different systems. Some give the base white board list of issues to take away and think over and come back to discuss areas that can't be agreed. Also take a look under the guide area on the site at Parenting Plans and Orders by Consent and look at the differences. A decent parenting plan can be relatively lengthy. If there is doubt that a parenting plan or mediated settlement will be adhered to then work on some orders by consent.

Here Wayne Butler and Lindsay Jackel of the Shared Parenting Council of Australia comment on a recent court case that gave custody to a man that wasn't even a childs natural parent and denied the mother.

Oh Wayne and Lindsay why aren't you outraged? This is not Shared Parenting? Why aren't you jumping up and down and screaming from the rooftops about the injustice? The guy wasn't even the childs NATURAL FATHER and as per all the garbage you spout, you publish yourself that the child is MOST AT RISK from a male who is not the child's NATURAL OR BIOLOGICAL FATHER. What is the Shared Parenting Councils Relationship with the Child Support Agency?

Wayne Butler is constantly referring to his special relationship with the Child Support Agency and implying that he can exert a lot of influence with that department? Mike Taylor has also referred to the special arrangement. We would like to know what is the nature of that arrangement and all that it entails. Is the Child Support Agency aware that the Shared Parenting Council of Australia really is just a rebadged Mens Rights group who have every interest in avoiding the payment of Child Support. Surely they have read the majority of the posts on the forum Familylawwebguide that are mainly concerned with the minimisation and avoidance of Child Support liabilities? Why are they still involved as a participant ont he site then? Why have they not admitted the bias towards payees and withdrawn their participation from the site? So many questions.

My advice to anyone reading here is do business by mobile phone and PO box number. Only concede what you wnat them to know and challenge every decision because there is usually a more advantageous position they want admit to. And never instigate a COA, and if one has been started on you resist it by whatever fair or foul means you can find. And keep your CSA paymnets up to date if you can - because when you win on a point, a refund cheque is a badge of honour.

Now that you've lost the funding why don't you all drop the facade? You don't have to pretend that you're a "Family" website anymore or are you all afraid that you will have to REPAY the funding due to the fraudulent applications and desperately trying to maintain that you are for fathers AND mothers when everybody knows that was garbage?
For every mother that posts for advice or help on that site (www.familylawwebguide.com.au which is a front for Mens Rights group Shared Parenting Council of Australia) there is only derision or blame. Every woman on there that isn't a stepmother is treated with disdain and AGOG (Michael Green ex QC and current woman hating mediator), OneRingRules (secretary of SPCA and has been accused of child sexual abuse so he hates all women as well) and then MikeT (alias the patronising and blind Mike Taylor) are the key players followed up by D4E (aka Padwithwings) with his whining "well it's your job to encourage the child to go to the abusers" attitude. D4Life aka extremely bitter and twisted Lindsay jackel because his wife left him for a lesbian follows in the rear with his nasty attitude. Conan,who is Peter Saxon has a particularly nasty attitude (and we all know what's in his past to make him like that!) is a poster that is sent in to go for the mother's jugular why they all stand around laughing.

Have you all not got the point by now, you can't INSIST that everyone who comes to the site has to read the entire thing. You obviously think your bullying can carry over into the cyber realm and have no comprehension of what is expected of a forum. The patronising "well you obviously haven't read through the site before you posted" garbage posted by Michael Green is extremely tedious and can only be construed as bullying. You have been accused numerous times of being arrogant and rude, maybe it's time to heed the warnings. You assume responsibility for the site in the guise of AGOG and SISYPHUS then you must also assume responsibility for how members are treated and should be ashamed of yourself.
